Whether you’re installing, diagnosing faults, or making a vital repair, you’ll be on hand with the right skills, right knowledge and plenty of smiles to make sure every experience is a positive one.

The Appliance Engineer Role – it’s all about customer experience:

• Customer friendly and organised approach with great customer service skills.
• Perform repairs and routine maintenance on a wide range of household appliances including washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, fridges, ovens and cookers.
• Driving your company van and managing your own day effectively
• Testing, diagnosing, and fixing white goods in our customers’ homes
• Appliance Installations and Removals
• Review and record work details using App on Company provided smart phone
• Monday to Friday with opportunity for overtime

You will need:

• Previous experience in appliance repairs and / or maintenance of a wide range of white goods including dishwashers, washing machines, refrigerators, tumble dryers, ovens and cookers.
• Customer service skills and ability to solve problems will enable you to diagnose defects, work safely to ensure a first-time fix for your customer.
• Full UK/EU driving licence

Ideal Qualities:


  • Previous Experience with White Good Repairs/Installations

  • Understanding of electrical principles / safety

  • Ability to provide and implement technical knowledge across a range of white goods appliances.

  • Team player - The ability to work effectively in a team and take initiative when working independantly.

  • Able to cope with physical requirements of the role (heavy lifting)

  • Valid driving licence and able to be based from our Colchester/Ardleigh Office
